FTP server on Nighthawk router device

If you want to handle your Netgear wifi router devices from any remote location, you can make use of FTP server account. Before you want to use FTP server for your router settings then you will need to create DDNS settings for this. Creating dynamic DNS account is possible using Netgear router default login page.

1.     First you will need to get dynamic DNS for your device. If you want to get DDNS for your Netgear router, you will need to access Netgear wifi router login page from a computer device. When you select “Advanced Setup” button from the configuration page, you can select “Dynamic DNS” button from there. You can then make DDNS settings from there. 2.     You will also need to configure FTP server settings for your device. Access Netgear routerdefault login page and then click on “USB Storage” button and there you can configure FTP server settings from “Advanced Settings” tab. 3.     Make sure that your internet service provider is providing you internet connections continuously. You can contact internet service providers in case your wifi connections are not working.
4.     When you are going on for these settings, you will need to make sure that USB device is connected to your Netgear wifi router device.
